Not a whole lot too say, retired for the last year from Law Enforcement, I live out in the country with my Dog. I enjoy cooking, doing work around the property an just plain enjoying life.
Looks like we have another day to enjoy before the dangerously high heat and humidity start in again. We're in a advisory from Sunday afternoon until Tuesday morning. Expecting 115 dgrees! Guess who's staying in!!
It's very nice today at 80 degrees so far. Humidity is low for a change. It has been for a few days now. It starts creeping up about 6:00P.M. every evening and about 6:00 a.m. each morning starts dropping again. That's alright with us!
Papa has been mowing for the last 2 days. The grass is sooo wet he has a problem getting it to spread around. We hear everyone is having the same problem.
Papa just left again to weed eat, after his lunch. Mine will be coming up in an hour. In-the-meantime, I need to get some laundry folded and put away.
We sure hope it doesn't get as warm as it did yesterday! I had to go out and the heat just about knocked me off my feet. When I got back from getting my driver's liscense I fixed Papa's dinner, had mine and I was finished. I had to go to bed about 7:30P.M. I was so exhausted. But I feel much better this morning.
