Here is a picture show of Japan where my daughter Jean is. She's been going on every tour she possibly can to see all she can while she's there.

I'm also an avid reader, read mostly mystery, crime, law, and suspense novels. Let me get my hands on a good book, and the world can stop for all I care. I will sit and read it till I'm done. I read very fast and retain all that I read, I usually do a good book in less than a day.

Photography is both a hobby and part time career. I've had pictures published, but haven't been doing too much of that lately, more like a hobby now. I love to sew and create things. Quilting has become a new passion. I've recently made 3 quilts with a little help from my friends! ; )

I have always been an animal person. Love my cats and dogs dearly. They are my fur children, lol.

I have 2 daughters, and 2 grandchildren. I've been remarried for 12 yrs and have 2 stepchildren as well. My oldest daughter, Jean, is currently living in Japan for 3 yrs as her husband is in the military and is stationed there. She teaches English to Japanese children in the Japanese school system. My younger daughter, Rose, lives nearby with the grandkids whom I adore, get to spoil rotten and then send them home. I also love to make things for the girls and the grandkids.

I decided to join here to make some new friends and to see if I can locate some of my old ones. I also have a MySpace page which you can visit at
