According to George Ballinger, the director of the school's office of parent relations, officials did not realize that Kenton Astin, 39, who is accused of slashing the throat of incoming freshman Michael Knorps, 17, had been acquitted by reason of insanity in a similar stabbing of a stranger in a Salvation Army store in 2001 in nearby Longmont. Officials confirm Astin was not sentenced as a convicted criminal, but instead was sent to the Colorado Mental Health Institute for the 2001 attack. He then was transferred to a halfway house in 2005 in Boulder, after he was determined to continue to be a "moderate risk to violently reoffend." Does anyone see a problem with the insanity defense and releasing the violent back into society?

People with hazel eyes are very loveable. They are really hot and are awesome to be around. They don't enjoy 'pet names'. They don't care what people think or say. COWS: Is it just me, or does anyone else find it amazing that our Government can track a single cow born in Canada almost three years ago, right to the stall where she sleeps in the state of Washington? And, they tracked her calves right to their stalls. But they are unable to locate 11 million illegal aliens wandering around our country. Maybe we should give each of them a cow.

THE CONSTITUTION: They keep talking about drafting a Constitution for Iraq. Why don't we just give them ours? It was written by a lot of really smart guys, it has worked for over 200 years, and we're not using it anymore.

THE TEN COMMANDMENTS: The real reason that we can't have the Ten Commandments posted in a courthouse is this: You cannot post "Thou Shalt Not Steal," "Thou Shalt Not Commit Adultery", and "Thou Shall Not Lie" in a building full of lawyers, judges and politicians. It creates a hostile work environment.
