Thought you might enjoy this interesting
prayer given in Kansas atthe opening session of their Senate. It seem prayer still upsets some
people. When Minister Joe Wright was asked to open the new session of the Kansas Senate, everyone was expecting the usual generalities, but this is what they heard:

'Heavenly Father , we come before you today to ask
your forgiveness and to seek your direction and
guidance. We know Your Word says, 'Woe to those
who call evil good,' but that is exactly what we
have done.

We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed our values.

We have exploited the poor and called it
the lottery. We have rewarded laziness and called itwelfare We have killed our unborn and called it
choice. We have shot abortionists and called it justifiable.

We have neglected to discipline our children and called it building self esteem. We have abused power and called it politics.

We have coveted our neighbor's possessions
and called it ambition. We have polluted the air with profanity and pornography and called it freedom of expression.

We have ridiculed the time-honored values
of our forefathers and called it enlightenment.
Search us, Oh, God, and know our hearts
today; cleanse us from every sin and set us free.
Amen!'

The response was immediate. A number of
legislators walked out during the prayer in
protest. In 6 short weeks, Central Christian
Church, where Rev. Wright is pastor, logged more than 5,000 phone calls with only 47 of those calls
responding negatively. The church is now receiving
international requests for copies of this prayer
from India ,Africa and Korea .

Commentator Paul Harvey aired this prayer on
his radio program, 'The Rest of the Story,'and
received a larger response to this program than any other he has ever aired.

With the Lord's help, may this prayer sweep
over our nation and wholeheartedly become our
desire so that we again can be called 'one nation
under God.'

You've probably seen this before. I have, and yet it was nice to receive it today.

You never know when your guardian angel will be there for you so I have to try...

People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime.
When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person..

When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed.
They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually.

They may seem like a Godsend and they are.
They are there for the reason you need them to be.

Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end
Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away.
Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand.

What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done.
The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.



Some people come into your life for a SEASON, because your turn has come to share, grow or learn.

They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh.
They may teach you something you have never done.
They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy.
Believe it, it is real. But only for a season.



LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons, things you must build upon in order to
have a solid emotional foundation.
Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person and put what you have learned to
use in all other relationships and areas of your life.
It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.

the next and having your food done by

German side - angered at Hitler for what he did to my ancestors who knew well of his evil and feared for their lives, and prayed in silence that they would not be killed. Angered at Americans who don't know the difference between Hitler and his tactics and saying President Bush was Hitler. Ignorance on their part! (I don't see people in mass dying here for their beliefs or burial grounds with masses of people on people like they have found overseas).

German side is also love of food and drink, working hard and having survival skills to get through storms of life with love of family, faith and love of country when no one else does.

Thanksgiving and Christmas traditions -

the car - people who go through red
lights and think nothing of it -
people who commit crimes (thought
when Obama got in office that would
stop for we are all suppose to be
together now).

Abortions - which is murder of another
life - so much more easier to do than
give a child a life, God will take care
of those who did it for the heck of it.
Life is so precious but in today's
society it means nothing to alot of
people, who is next our elders. God
should take a life when someone takes
a life.

Don't want anyone to tell me I can't
work -

And the Media shouldn't put all
baby-boomers in a class where they
all have money - it is like someone
saying just because a rotten apple
is in the bunch they all are rotten.
I'm not rich!

Bottom feeders - those who are
born in the United States not
pulling their weight and making
excuses and not responsible
enough. Those who vote blindly
and we end up a Third
World country and getting
burned by terrorists in our
country from not closing
our borders. Our childrens
lifes mean nothing. Thanks
a heap!
