Blog Entry: 2008/08/05 1325 HRS. Hello JD Sr... Sheesh, kids... Gonna have bad weather coming in today. the bottom if falling out of the barometer... gentle rain falling at the moment and the air is dead still.. and MeSneaky has been playing dodgems with tornadic wx in Arkansas for the last couple of weeks... another round is coming in today and tonite for her. The News is very late today cause I slept late... I was up overnite again with the dogs alarm barking...This is the fourth nite in a row and I had finally had enuf of the prowler, who I believe is my psychotic neighbor, playing hide and seek... I rolled out of bed, grabbed the .22 and went out on the back porch... watched the dogs and then fired a round to the southeast of the house. This was at 0430 this morning. I waited a while...didn't hear any more...came back in and went back to bed. If the idiot keeps his same patterns, I won't be bothered for at least another two weeks...for anyone new to the News, this is a long, ongoing and complicated story but absolutely true. Let's just say that Mr. A cannot seem to understand the word NO! Well, let me see here... Oh, Marv asked me a question which has set me to pondering...(Marv is my buddy, pal and friend who lives in California. We argue, fuss, tease, torment and play gotcha on a daily basis and I love him dearly) But I digress (picked that up from KK) lolol.. Back to question...(paraphrasing)Do I get many hits/comments on or about the News? Well, no I really don't. However, I don't expect any. I do know that my friends read it because at sometime during the day, one or more will make a comment in a pm or email. Marv almost always makes a funny remark on the blog page. KK does..I get so tickled... usually the comments are in rebuttal to my gotcha's... lololol and THAT is what makes the News fun for me! On several occasions, I have received pm's from complete (to me) strangers who have been reading all along. I am always pleasantly surpised by the pm's... and it makes my day to receive one. If I can lighten someone's load, help ease the loneliness, the hurt or the sorrows, that's all I ask. Did something I write make you smile or maybe giggle? Have you enjoyed your visit into my world? Your visit to my mountains? My life? I live quietly but I am very seldom bored. Thank goodness... I would like to add that my main purpose in writing was to reach out to mine... My gals and guys, my veterans, active and non-active... To my Dear hearts who have kept us safe and sacrificed so very much. Welcome home, my dear ones, welcome home...
