If I had one wish,know what it would be?
To see the truth in people,
as I have seen in me.
To find someone honest,truthful and kind,
to share my world -as his and mine.
I'm nobody's baby,I stand on my own.
I have power within myself,and am never alone.
I know who I am-and who I can be,
I am valerie,and valerie is me.
Even in stormy times,strengh I have found,
in all the beautyaround me, in I see all around.
We have beauty and joy in all that we see,
open your eyes and see it with me.
Don't feel alone,don't stay in sorrow.
There are days we all feel that way-but there IS tomorrow.
No one know's what tomorrow will bring.
Joys or sorrows,it can be anything.
The smile on a childs face,
life moving at a faster pace.
Take my hand,and walk the road.
Age is but a number...so I am told.
And distance in miles,is all in the mind.
The heart can travel,bodies cannot find.
