Don Imus episode
Posted On 04/13/2007 21:32:14 by strong1469
Ok ladies and Gents and boys and girls.
Gather around it time for Uncle dennis'
enlightening dose of reality slap yourself in the face
why on Earth did I do that.
Gather around in a circle all you Rutgers basketball ladies want
you to hear this to.
Reality can be a hard knock you on your fat ass thing at times.
Point number 1......
Womens pro basketball doesnt pay zelch on a stick, IF
ya even make it that far.
Listen UP kiddies Don Imus on the other hand I want to
point out is probly veryy well financially set.

Point 2.
A radio story I remember in my hometown.
At the time we had a hispanic mayor.
Well one day a radio talk show host said,
they should give out taco bell stickers to put on your car
for every illegal ya nail on the highway as a confirmed kill.
The hispanic mayor had a full blown meltdown overreacting.
Yepp you guessed it.
Little radio talk host was canned, shocking.

Wait, wait theres more a happy ending more or less.
Poor poor discraced humbled bowed radio guy ENDED up
in the third highest rated radio market in the country Boston.
Making more money than when he was fired.
Point to this----------

The POINT being the people gettin bit such as Don Imus and the
gentleman in the situation i discussed HAVE A TALENT.
I suggest Rutgers you really dwell awhile on the monster youve
created.
Don Imus is not coming out the loser on this

People like Imus should be ignored and eventually they will fade into obscurity.

I personally liked Imus. I have yet to hear a radio announcer who hasn't said something to offend someone. Yet he loses his job. What happened to freedom of speech????? He might have thought before speaking but I have never heard him do that yet so why should he start now. I agree with ya on the fact that he will probably go on and do even better and I will be glad to hear it myself. If he says something about the president people don't like he doesn't get fired but a basketball team??? I just don't understand myself why people take things so much to heart when there is so much more important things going on around us. Worry about the hungry, homeless, elderly people being mistreated. Don't just wait for someone to say something to make you mad then speak up. Get over it already and move on. No one is going to remember you anyway but you can bet they will remember Imus.....

Hell no he won't. He's going to be playing cards with Howard Stern on sattelite radio getting filthy rich. LMFAO!!!!

PS How come Jessie Jackson isn't being boycotted for calling me a cracker??? Oh yeah, the looser doesn't have anything. :)

Hopefully times have changed and our awareness of what is "funny" and what is "disgusting" have been fine-tuned a bit. And the last time I assessed, money wasn't everything, nor is it an indicator of character and decency. But then who said character and decency are a popular commodity in the entertainment world? *sigh*
