Today, is the anniversery of D- Day, 1944. We are losing about 1100 WW2 vets yearly, and being one of the probably last generation, to get it first hand, my grandfather jumped the night before, in the paratroops, please, stop for a moment, to pray, and thank these men, who did, and continue to enable us to live the way we do. Thanks

My dad and I were not close; he is gone now. I have to tried to understand the War he fought. He fought in the Pacific theater during WWII U.S. Navy. He never talked about it. So, I've done some research myself. Even if we didn't get along, I know he was a very courageous man to have faced that. I also found out he was a boxer for the Navy.
