Popping In

Just stopping in--just found this site today thru another site I was on--seems alot of them are leaving because of some rule changes not particularly popular--I only got on the other today and am just generally klutzing around. Our Lake is cold, 3 ice shacks on the lake, no word from my three kids, so just a quiet day at hom Me, the Hubby, and the cat.

Welcome! I've been on Eons too (in case that's where you're coming from) but haven't participated much there. Here is a much more warm and sharing community, from my experience. I hope you find it the same. Enjoy!

It's been a bit warmer here than some of the days last week, but we got a fresh covering of snow the last few days. My lake is Lake Michigan (Chicago area) so no shacks out there, but I do love the lake and it really makes this city special.

Kids! Sometimes it seems they have forgotten about us, all busy with their own lives as they get. But then there's the family gatherings (we were just all together today for a birthday celebration) and the love is there, no doubt about it. I hope you hear from your children soon.
