Return from the 19th Century
Posted On 02/16/2008 08:07:55 by faith
My husband and I have returned from a short get away vacation to Sturbridge, Mass. Old Sturbridge Village is a museum town set in 1838 with original buildings brought there from all over New England and set up as a town would have looked in the 19th century. It was cold, but we bundled up and had an excellent time being in a completely different world for a couple of days. If any of you travel to New England it's a place worth visiting. I'll post some photos to the gallery. Hope you are all doing well. Faith

Hi Faith, I just just nosing around and came across the blacksmith photo and said GEE, THIS REMINDS ME OF STURBRIDGE and sure enough, it is! Been there a few times. I hope you went yesterday, when it was warmer then today! Great photos! Liked your page, (Just viewed it briefly)- trying to get ideas for mine.
Stay warm, from your Mass neighbor
