Find us at Boomer central everyone is welcome!

A group for sharing and discussing home remedies, both household, and health. Looking for something find it here, have a remedy not shown share it with the group. Please note that no home remedy is or ever will be intended as a substitution for Medical Direction or advice from your medical professionals. What you may see here must be discussed with your medical professionals, or Pharmacist. Although a high percentage of prescription drugs have originated with their roots in plants and roots, You must check for compatibility to an drugs you use. I will be adding things along the way, and hope you share with us as well. Remember, not all drug work on everyone, and not all Holistic or Home Remedies will work on everyone. I look forward to hearing your questions and comment, that will be answered by our rank and file with the years of experience each brings. No question is stupid, and discussions are not intended (nor will they be accepted) to provoke bad feelings. Welcome to the group Steve Shank

Thanks Steve, I think this is a good group to have! I am am alot of meds and have in the past weeded some out as they were not that important. My question is : Once a person has been told they have high blood presser and take the medicine, do they always for the rest of their life have it?? I take it twice a day as directed and sometimes forget my afternoon dose and seem fine. But when I remember I missed it, I take it. Just wondering if that is something that goes away. Of course a doctor will say no as they want you to keep taking the med. Just wondering,Barb
