I know a lot of us have had some problems understanding how to post images now that we have the new super-dooper box here in which we type and copy/paste our image codes. I think I may have discovered what's happening, especially when it comes to Photobucket images, but also for codes from other sites.
First of all, on Photobucket, we are offered 4 different lines of code from which to choose. Before the upgrade, the one(s) that worked were the HTML code or the IMG code. Now, however, copying the Direct Link code seems to be what works (from my trial and error experience). And that needs to be entered by clicking where we want the image to be placed in relation to the text, if any, that we've typed, then clicking on the little tree icon at the top of the text box and pasting the code into where it says Image URL. From other sites, that don't give 4 options for copying the code, one can dissect the code given and just paste, in the same line in the little tree icon box, only the URL shown in the code given. The URL would look like http:// and something after that which tells the site and location where the image is hosted (where you found it). I haven't tested the second option (non-Photobucket codes) but I think that should work.
Give this a try..and if I'm fulla beans..let me know! LOL I love all the new cool options we have now, but it's going to take some getting used to. Good luck! And have a GREAT Friday!
