I went to the VA for my checkup yesterday and they said I am healing but it will take some time because my ribs were fractured pretty good. I've learned to live with the pain but it hasn't been much fun the last three weeks and it has affected all facets of my life including writing. I've decided to stop taking the strong pain medication in favor of a less potent pill because they make me a bit goofy. My close friends know 'm goofy enough on my own...
