After perusing some old maps of Republic, I set out yesterday to find the Black River school which opened in 1904 and closed in 1918. Something about the woods lets me sleep in. It's nice to sleep late. The weather has been fantastic. It's been sunny pretty much my whole vacation. I'm greatful I've had good weeks thus far.
