IN THE SILENCE OF THE NIGHT
In the deepening silence of the night,
When all is still and stars are bright,
Reflect upon God's love for you
And look within to know it's true.

When you accept that He is there
You'll see Him 'round you everywhere;
And when you feel life's hard for you,
He'll help you if you ask Him to.

If you feel sad and torn apart,
He'll fill the emptiness of heart.
And put a smile upon your face,
So you can show His loving grace.

There is no limit to His power.
He's with you in your darkest hour;
When it's so hard to make a choice,
Just listen to His loving voice.

And when you think it's all in vain,
He'll lead you from that road of pain.
He'll comfort you and give you rest;
You'll feel His love and know you're blest.

When life is full and joyful, too,
He shares your happiness with you.
Show the peace you've come to feel,
So others know His love is real.

When you reflect His love for you
In all that you may say or do,
You'll help another on his way
With strength to face a brand new day.
***
In the deepest silence of the night,

Give thanks that He has let you see
That He will ever walk with thee.
