Hey all of mine, welcome home... Come on in and get cool... Muggies have arrived again. Sheesh! Had some drizzles too. Gray clouds overheard... Oh well, shame on me for complaining about the weather!
I have been reminiscing about holidays past and about all the ones we have lost to keep us free...our best and our brightest! Thank you my dear ones for your sacrifices. The flag reminds me every day of the ones who fought to keep us free.
Ah yes, freedom!
While I was making coffee this morning, I looked out the kitchen window...MY kitchen window... saw MY trees...Saw MY hummingbirds fussing over the nearly empty feeder... Saw and heard MY birds singing... saw and fed MY ducks who were complaining loudly, "feed me"!... I was able to enjoy all these things, little things, because of Freedom!
I am free to say and do as I will. I am free to enjoy my life, my family. I am free to enjoy every day in my beautiful home and homeland...all because all of mine fought to give me the privilege to be free to be who I am...The many over the generations... Thank you, again dear hearts! I do not forget.
