I am on vacation for a few weeks and I am deep in the NH woods. It is very nice and although the weather is warm here in the woods I sleep with a wool blanket and the windows closed. Yesterday it was in the high 80's but in my little neck of the world it is cold at night.
I took the old people and they seem to be enjoyiong themselves. Everyone sleeps late and we eat but two meals a day. It is an easy way to live if you did not have to worry about money. Just existing and living free is a wonderful thing. I can see why street people like to live like this. It's the freedom that you feel - with no worries. I wouldn't be so grey if that were the case!
Well, I must be getting off this community computer. People look like they are showing up for a meeting and I must be getting back to the camp and check on the folks.
Before I part I would like to share with everyone the fact that we have a pair of loons and they had a baby. Loons care for their baby together and I go and watch them as they swim around with the baby on the back of the mother or father. How they can dive down on one side of the lake and show up on the other side in a matter of less then a minute. They are lovely to watch and pass my time in the evening and how wonderful it is they are undisturbed by humans. I hear them talking to each other in the early morning hours. It is a peaceful sound!
