We have a feral cat living under the shelter of some plants in my neighbor's yard since she gave birth to her kittens. It's been weeks and there she is, faithfully tending to her little ones. She rarely leaves them, even to eat the food my neighbor puts out for the neighborhood cats, so my neighbor puts some of the food by her. I have been amazed at how even a cat that has had no real care of her own has such a maternal instinct. The mamas in your video show all the more the strength of the natural ability of a mother to sense the need little babies have and be dedicated to their care. Makes me wonder what goes wrong inside some human mothers who do not care for their babies with that same dedication.
