WHAT IS A RANDOM ACT OF KINDNESS?
Posted On 09/13/2008 21:56:44 by GypsySkyWalker_2

WHAT IS A RANDOM ACT OF KINDNESS?
It is:
Running someone's errand
Because they can't go out.
No one has to ask you -
That's what kindness is about.
*
A call or visit to a shut-in,
With compassion and with grace,
Leaves a very loving memory
And a sweet smile on their face.
*
A touch to help another's suffering;
Lending a truly listening ear,
Shows someone really cares for them
And eases loneliness and fear.
*
Kindness shown in anything
Can help to lead the way
For opening up possibilities,
And to brighten someone's day.
*
A random act of kindness,
That came straight from the heart,
Changes another's life so much
And you know you've done your part.
*
You did what needed doing
And didn't sit by on a shelf;
Without a fanfare or pat on the back
You offered up yourself.
