For all of mine ...

2008/12/01 1324EST

I refuse to admit I am running late! I take the fifth (vanilla) as to why! lololol

Oh dear! The Boss is on a punny bagel (roll) and has already done a gotcha on me!

The Storm gods seem to be playing with some very upset Wind gods out there... I see dark ragged clouds being pushed down the holler to the east... Yesterday, the barometer was as low as I have seen it for a while - at 29.14... It is still low today at 29.45...

I just looked out the window and wet snow is falling! Not a blizzard by any means but snow none the less! The sun is peeking thru the clouds from the west. I can hear the wind chimes out back... and the temp is above 40° out there! Somebody is confused weather-wise! Is it me? ( Dave, bite your tongue!)

Did y'all know that my east bedroom window acts like a yearly sun dial? Yup, it does! The morning sun moves to the north or it arcs to the south in rhythm with the seasons. Nature's slow motion dance. On or about the 22nd this month, the morning sun will hit the old computer screen against the north wall.

On the same day, the sun's rays will climb to the second row of bricks above the floor of the back porch...Oh yeah! I checked that out a couple of years ago.

Come mid-summer, the morning sun will hit the TV screen in the south west corner of the apartment.

It occurs to me that I have a strange mind and an even stranger curiosity bump!

The Maxfield has been pestering me this morning... when he wasn't chewing on the rocker...Pet me Mom, pet me! Him a cute lil feller! Ooopsie.. I just heard a small argument out on the back porch!

Everybody's ok... Just a 'dominance' spat.

Just got this from JCC... lolol It's an oldy but goody!

On some air bases the Air Force is on one side of the field and civilian aircraft use the other side of the field, with the
control tower in the middle. One day the tower received a call from an aircraft asking, "What time is it?"
The tower responded, "Who is calling?"
The aircraft replied, "What difference does it make?"
The tower replied, "It makes a lot of difference... If it is an American Airlines flight, it is 3 o'clock. If it is an Air Force plane, it is 1500 hours. If it is a Navy aircraft, it is 6 bells. If it is an Army aircraft, the big hand is on the 12 and the little hand is on the 3. If it is a Marine Corps aircraft, it's Thursday afternoon and 120 minutes to "Happy Hour."

Lolol... I just LOVE people! There is more than a little truth here. Thanx JC

At 1500hrs, I think I'll go for the Happy Hour myself! lolol Bring on the vanilla!

Well... let me see here! I got the Christmas stuff up from the basement! Put the tree in the front window... have the candles (elec) burning on either side. Put the lil wooden toy train around the bottom of the tree.. Hmmm.... I have garlands of twinkle lites to put around the archway to the kitchen...What else... oh I almost forgot.... a whole bunch of decorations stored in the chest (coffee table) in the living room...

Some of these pieces go back 50 years... lots of memories attached... I remember the kids and all of the critters. Each ornament, each ribbon comes with memories attached... I don't need the photographs to remind me. All I need do is look at each one and place it where it has always belonged.

Even down to the arrangement of the stockings on the old mantle...

Every year, the library holds it's Christmas bazaar. And every year I donate a painting to be raffled off. Called this morning to give permission to do the same thing this year... Am I nice or what? lollol When I called and talked to the lady (who shall remain nameless), all I was given in return was a hard time... I laffed so hard I cried! lolol I have the best time!

Later all of mine... go in safety always. Remember to start the day with laffter... (The gotcha from the Boss man first thing)... Love one another, smile at everybody and giggle to yourself! Hugs and much love... The holly covered emom....
