Hey Kids! I made it up before noon today! Wonder of wonders! Gee whiz! lolol
The 6 pack + 1 kept me up overnite... In/out... they slept all day and wanted to romp all over the back side of the house all nite! This may work for the critters but it sure don't work for me! lolol
I booted rumps, butts and rears out the back door a/a 0300 hours! Talking to myself and grumbling aloud, I head back to bed. Do some serious cover diving and zonk out... Ahhhh Yes! Bury myself under the blankets and go sound asleep! Some of my rotten friends have hinted that at my age, I need all the 'beauty' sleep I can get!
I love you too Brats!
I am starting to fret here a little bit! The Marv went away for the weekend and hasn't returned as of yet. Was supposed to be home yesterday. I miss that rotten thorn in my side when he's not out there waiting for me to mess up somehow! ( by his terms) lolol He plays a mean game of gotcha... However, I think I am slightly ahead on points in the gotcha game! More practice, me! lolol
Get home safely, dear heart... the emom worries!
Let me see.... Oh we had another lovely snowfall last nite. Heavy wet snow... the good packin, 'make a snowman' type snow! Didn't last but the ground was covered for a while... ditto the side porch ramp! Not enuf for a snow angel yet but it will happen! There is still snow in the shady spots...
Last year, during a heavy lasting snow period, I would go stand on the back porch. Coffee in hand, I would read the messages left in the snow by the wild critters.
Interesting read! A small bear had come trundling through from west to east. A large cat had bounded through... 15 foot leaps across the back yard..( I went down and measured) . cat was also heading east...deer tracks and spoor... Rabbit tracks and what looked to be possum (had a tail whatever it was) Small tracks are hard to read in the snow... It depends on the temps and the freshness of the tracks.
Wowser! Just got off the phone with the Anna... That woman is a riot! lolol She was going to give me a 'starter' of Amish bread. Now, according to Anna, you will still be working on the dough on day ten! Y'all know I have no memory and a very short attention span. I would hate to waste such a 'yummy to be' by forgetting one of the necessary steps. Anyhow, Anna has decided that she will make a loaf of bread for me.... will be my Christmas present! YES! I can handle that!
Watched Celtic Woman on our local PBS station last nite. Love their music... They sang a beautiful rendition of Danny Boy... They also have a 'beautiful' drummer who travels with them... I think I'd like to find the drummer boy in my Christmas stocking.... Think I'm having a hot flash or sumfin! lolol Bad Paula! Crackin' up!
On the floor! I ordered some books from Amazon...Didn't expect them to arrive so quickly.. Door bell rings! I grab .38 and go flying out the side door! See UPS truck... not my regular driver... lolol and here I am in the old battle gray robe, waving pistol in the air... wish you could have seen the expression on the guys face! Oh dear... there goes the reputation again... This time tho, I had teeth in and hair was brushed up into a pony tail of sorts...
I can hear it now when he gets back to the center! 'This crazy old woman! Old gray dress! Waving gun! Big pack of dogs! Ain't gonna go there again!' lolololol Poor man! Now I do have the giggles!
Later all of mine! Gots to get going... I'm sure there is trouble out there for me to find... somewhere...
Take care...go in safety always... Be thankful I am not your next door neighbor (Oh yeah!) Be thankful for what you DO have!
Love and many hugs... meems
