OK, OK! I'm up and on EONS finally! I'd have been here sooner but I couldn't get to Eons! There weren't no way to get there from here!
I think I am in the holiday mood! Gots my Christmas coffee mug to hand! Did I tell you I have a collection of coffee mugs? Oh yeah!
I have all the seasons of the year... Quite a few for the holidays... A Maxine mug... I don't use this one. Oh no! Don't want anything to happen to this one..I have Ms Piggy mugs...and some are shaped like different pieces of fruit. lolol ... I have lemons, apples, oranges... what else?.. I have a punkin mug too! I have a santa mug...lolol the bottom half of the jolly old elf! Santa has a lid! Don't ask, cause I don't know why!
The 6 pack + 1 just went off! Alarm barking and protecting me from, I discover, a passing van! lolol
Let me tell you it is cold out there this morning! Oh yeah! I went out without a jacket or anything... I was dressed! Way too cold to go starkers with nothing but miles and miles of thick frost and a steady ground level breeze on the long fetch!
Anyway, I looked up and my fly guys were up there a playing already! Big beautiful silver birds against the blue sky.. Contrails all over ... sort of looked like basket weaving! lolol I am biting my tongue here! Sitting on my hands too! I could digress a lot this morning! Now I'm getting tickled!

OK! The Marv is back... got a short note from him... just said he was home and tired... Wait til I get a hold of him! Broom and I will beat him black and blue! Emom gets a little testy when she worries! Trust me!
The Bear is back from a 5 day trip! Bout daggoned time too!
Oh, back to my flyguys for a minute. The BBSB's and my heat pump both 'sing' in the same range.. When the heat pump is on, I cannot hear my guys overhead! BRB!
0902est.... Back! Just had to go outside and wave at one of my guys... LOLOL
There are contrails all over right now... Air aloft is very quiet...Shift change for the mountain winds. When the wind is still, the echos and the sounds don't carry as well nor as far.
Anyway, I see a large star up there... some serious attempts at basket weaving and a large X is hanging over the house! LOLOL It's my fantasy and I enjoy every minute of it... I would attempt to listen to the chatter but my CB only goes to channel 40... However, if you guys wanted to drop down once in a while, I would love it! lolol
Sometimes I wonder what the actual size of the fly patterns are... Miles and miles I suppose... Can't judge from here on the mountain. Lots of sky to cover!
Coffee! LOLOL Broken field running down the hall to the kitchen and back is the best exercise in the world! I am lying! Big time! The way out ain't too bad; coming back and making it without spilling the coffee is a miracle! My balance ain't too good at the best of times anyway!
Two of my books arrived yesterday from Amazon. I was a baaaad girl...Shouldn't have spent the money but my books are like money in the bank to me... Love my books!
Rickaz mentioned the title of the one a week or so ago. Thought I'd give it a read.... ACHILLES IN VIETNAM... I also ordered the companion book...ODYSSEUS IN AMERICA.
Both books are written by Jonathan Shay, M.D., Ph.D. Think they are gonna be interesting reads.
Went outside again... no jacket! I am not too brite! lolol It is cold out there even tho the sun is shining!
My guys are all over up there... I stood and waved and sent hugs and kisses! I feel a little sheepish sometimes but that's ok! Again, it is my fantasy. If I want to freeze my buns off in the cold, I can and will!
