I can't remember LOL What else is new
Hi Lizzie, I really can't remember. I don't know if you remember Pine Knob, why back when. But when they would come into town, the guys that owned the place were friends of Mario's.
I guess that is how they met.
But he played with Bob Seger, oh I wish I could remember all the groups he played back up for on their records.
There was a recording studio in Warren MI. I would go with him, when they would come to town, but I was around them all the time, so it didn't mean much to me then.
Now I wish I had pictures, and autographs.
Mario had his own band, and almost made it. He was able to get to a record producer. But they said his music was way ahead of the time. I use to have a copy of the demo tape.
When ZZ Top came to town they visited where Mario was playing.
I will never forget that night. The people went crazy over them.
Goodness these are old memories. I haven't thought about them in yrs. It takes a while but it will come back to me. LOL
I do remember it was so boring in the recording studio. LOL
The only made so many of those Guitars. I will have to find one on line. I bet he still has it.
There were a lot of drugs going around back then, but I never messed with them, and Mario didn't either.
But Holy Toledo, you couldn't get a contact high from some of the bands LOL.
