Hello everyone

Can't complain too much lately. My biggest pain, my back, has been feeling pretty good lately. I can even walk the grocery again. The new doc I got did 3 sets of 3 shots in my back under fleuroscopy, something like x-ray, and I can go farther than I've been able to in a long time.

Only problem now, is when I go too far, the right hip kicks in. It's about halfway to a replacement according to the orthopedic. But, it kicks in before the back and that's a switch!! The things they can do these days.

Have to go next week to see about getting a shot in the shoulder if it hasn't gone too far. Had rotor cuff surgery on the left and now the right has started. I get one thing fixed and 2 more pop up!! Vicsious cycle!!!

I'm happy to hear about the feeling better part! hate it when other pain takes place of one that quits.
I hope your trip is going well , I just noticed your post and was wondering what type of shots you r recieving?

I get Synvisk (sp?) it helps a lot for several months at a time. but I can only get them once a year.

I would love to know if there is something out there that might last longer especially that i may be able to have more often if needed. I hate pain meds (allergic to most) and have had too many stomach reactions to take anti inflamatorys anymore. So most of the time I'm relaying on pool therepy, good thoughts. and couple of darvasets a day. lol.. it will probably be that way till they decide to do my knee replacements , which I'm not ready for yet!

and not doing any more scrappings till I absolutly have to!!
I was planning on dancing and mnt climbing when i was this age ,lol
guess its just taking me a little while ( like 10 yrs) to decide I can't do everything LOL

MARIANN, I WAS WONDERING...YOU SAID YOU HAD SURGERY ON YOUR LEFT SHOULDER... IS THERE A LARGE SCARE FROM IT? HOW LONG DID IT TAKE TO HEAL? CAN YOU PLEASE TELL ME A LITTLE BIT ABOUT IT? I AM LOOKING AT SURGERY ON MY RIGHT SHOULDER AND I AM SCARED TO DEATH!!!! I HAVE BEEN IN SEVERE PAIN FOR QUITE SOME TIME NOW. I AM IN P. THERAPY 3 TIMES A WEEK NOW AND IT ISN'T HELPING MUCH, BUT DR. SAYS I NEED TO GO FOR ABOUT 3 MONTHS MORE. I GOT A SHOT OF CRTISONE (SP.?) BUT IT DID NOTHING!!! WELL, GOTTA RUN...ARM IS HURTING... CAN'T TYPE FOR VERY LONG. SORRY!!!
