Smokey and the Bandit
Hey JBG, maybe u can confirm something I've heard about but never known whether it was true or not. I was told the scene where they break into the brewery was shot in downtown Jonesboro at the old railroad depot building. Have u ever heard one way or the other about that? Also, I have heard many of the chase scenes were filmed in or around Jonesboro. It would be interesting to name since we currently live very near Jonesboro.

If I remember correctly they did film alot of scenes down around Jonesboro and Morrow. Some were filmed at the lakewood fairgrounds too.
