I found myself lazy and guilty of this also. I have comments that go way way back and have started deleting them as it is going to take awhile. I think we all could do a little house cleaning from time to time. I know if I do not stay up on it I also let my messages get piled up. I just wish admin could figure out how to put a delete button in our sent box. All of that piles up also. Oh well, in a perfect world, LOL.

A lot of people are getting the Exceeded Bandwidth message all the time, and I'm one. I even cleaned out my album on Photobucket thinking that would help. When it didn't, I broke down and contacted them. I finally got an explanation as to why that does that. It has nothing to do with what's in your album!

You are alotted a certain amount of memory a month. Each time we send comments we use some of that memory. I people are not eventually deleting those comments, that memory is still being used!! So if I send person A a comment and they don't delete in by next month. I've already used that much memory for the new month!! Make sense?

So we've all got to get in and delete old comments!! Go to your page and scroll down to the bottom of the comments. Click on View All Comments. When that page comes up it shows up to 8 pages. But if you click the arrows next to the 8 it will take you to the very last page!! I had 95 pages. That's over 1,000 comments!! Sorry to say, there's no easy way, you have to delete each comment, one at a time!! And it takes time. But once you get it down to just 5 or 6 pages, it will be easier to keep it there. This applies for those of you on Myspace too!! Those comments are also using the memory!

This will free up your Photobucket memory. My page is full of exceeded bandwidth because so much of my stuff is out there I can no longer use Photobucket until all my friends get rid of my old comments to them!!! Please repost this message so everyone sees it. You all have other friends that I may not have, so they won't see this message unless it's reposted several times!! Everyone needs this info. Got any questions let me know and I'll try to answer them. I got a pretty thorough explanation of this and hope my explanation to you is understandable!!!
