Hi,
I saw this group and had to join. I do not live in Idaho, but I was born there, Lewiston, and grew up there, Genesee. It was my childhood. Most of my extended family lived in Washington state ane we were right across the border in Genesee. My grandfather called my younger sister and I his Genesee blondes.
I have visited since leaving when I was nineteen. Many of those visits were in Genesee and Moscow too so my children did get to experience a little of small town life and beauty of the state.
Any news on the state is welcome.
I have two sisters living in Spokane so I keep up with the Northwest. One sister and her husband have a boat on Pend Oreille.
I hope we can interest others in this group.

I LIVE IN RUPERT A VERY SMALL TOWN. ALL MY KIDS LIVE IN BOISE OR HAILEY. BOISE STATE DID WIN SOME GOOD GAMES LAST YEAR. THEIR IS SOME PROGESS GOING ON IN BOISE.
WE HAVE A NEW CHEESE FACTORY WHERE IN JR SIMPLOT COMPANY WAS BUT THEY DON'T HIRE AS MANY PEOPLE. THE KRAFT FOODS PLANT SOLD OUT IN RUPERT AND ANOTHER HAS TAKEN THEIR PLACE. RUPERT IS REMODELING THE OLD MOVIE THEATER. I GUESS THATS ALRIGHT BUT I THINK IT WOULD OF BEEN BETTER TO FIND JOBS FOE PEOPLE THAN DO THIS. WE HAVE A NEW MAYOR, PAUL FRIES.
I WILL KEEP MY EYES OPEN MORE AND START TO POST MORE THINGS ABOUT IDAHO, MAYBE THIS WILL BRING IN MORE MEMBERS.
