About your hat....

Does it matter what your red hat looks like? I mean it seems most of the the drawings of them are trimmed in purple. I was planning to crochet a cloche tonight (only takes a couple/three hours). Last night I made one in black and white to see if I like the fit. Very retro. Back to the '70s and before that, about the '20s.

Now, I'm trying to decide between two shades of red, red and purple, red and blue, red and black, or red and white. I suppose that I could just make more if I'm not sure of the combinations after I get done. I just thought that I would ask for an opinion first.
