Just what kind of Questions are they asking? For one thing, the cows have rights and perhaps should have a Lawyer present...
That would be a Holstein handler I guess…
But my word! Why on earth did they send what someone had to know was tainted beef to the schools…

What is MAD COW Disease?

MAD COW DISEASE, what is it? Recently we learned of yet another Mad Cow Disease outbreak. Which leads to the question by many as well as me what is Mad Cow Disease? Is it just a bunch of cows objecting to their lifestyle? How about Angry Cow Disease then? Or Un-happy Cow. I have heard of Brown Cow, which is a form of Root beer Float which is more times the fact changing the Root Beer for Cola. Yuck! But I think that would not make any cow Mad or Angry for that Matter… I so should have blogged this today…The Irony of it all… So still stepping further out on the limb of life, awaiting a snap crackle or pop followed by a sharp change in direction and then a stop… Oh that was me falling from the tree of life…Mad Cow… What makes these cows so blasted mad? Can Cow be used in plural? As Cows or is it like Deer you don’t use deers in Plural just deer Inquiring minds would like to know? I think, there for I am…wait…That is from Rene Descartes… I will that that bit alone… no copy right infringements for me. So The answer still looms at large what is pissing this cows off? I mean They are Mad and they are not going to take it any more… Why can’t we stop them at Angry or, Upset and confused… why does it have to be all or none? So here is the question at hand Ethan Hunt if you so choose to take it…

Mad Cow Disease

Ok...I'm not going to be able to give the best description of mad cow disease, but my suggestion to you is that you go check what these or other sites of the nature of these links have to say on the subject. It is a very serious disease.

Mad Cow Disease is a disease that affects cows and was found to be easily spread to more cows by the practice of including parts of cows in cow feed. I they say that one of the first most obvious signs of the disease that the cows becomes "downers" which is to say that they don't stand up or can't stand up anymore. When the cows are diseased, they should be destroyed, not used for food. If they are used for food, it's possible to get the disease called "Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease" or "variant Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease" from eatting the beef from sick cows.

If you actually read at least the two complete articles that I put the above links for, you will come to this paragraph in the third article:

"Additional safeguards are evolving as the US deals with the first documented case of BSE in 2003: keeping downer animals out of the human food chain because these are at highest risk for being ill with BSE, tracking cattle from birth to slaughter in case an infected animal is found and its meat can be destroyed, and using less aggressive ways to harvest meat from carcasses to avoid brain and spinal tissues."

If you remember what was recently in the news about the footage that taped in a beef processing plant, where they were shoving around and dragging around the downer cows, the downers that are supposed to be kept out of the food chain. If this practice is as common as the filmers suggested to the news, and vCJD can lay dormant for years, how much are we going to be having later?
