grow own food
I've usually been a renter with sometimes a small yard, but often only a balcony or deck, but every year I plant a container with tomatoes and peppers. Don't know how much $ it has saved me, but it certainly is satisfying to eat food that you have grown yourself.

growing your own food
so i will start this, with the best way i can see, to save money. since the price of food has gone so high. even in an apartment, food can be grown, to atleast supplement the lower income. and its cheap and easy.

A little inspiration goes a long way, brenflag
I love your comments, brenflag. Maybe this year I will follow you and plant some potted tomatoes. I just spent the afternoon today planting some potted flowers outside, front and back and they look so beautiful. I never thought of container vegetables. Thanks for the idea! I agree with you that even if the savings is minimal, it is just a neat thing to do! Thank you. KulBreeze
