Wrap your arms around me
Never let me go

I’ve waited a lifetime for you
Saw you only in my dreams
A faceless, nameless person
It wasn’t what it seemed

But now that I have found you
Each day with you is real
I can’t begin to tell you
Just how you make me feel

My day begins with thoughts of you
And how it will be
The days ahead are blessed my love
Just you wait and see

My nights are filled with memories
Of spending time with you
Each one is better than the last
They never make me blue

My arms outstretched to hold you
So close to me you are
You make me feel so happy
You’re never very far

So when each day is ended
My thoughts are just for you
I hope you know my love is
Forever and so true.

I thought I as going to have to wait a lifetime to read any poetry from the rest of the group as the present list goes back to June 2007. Therefore it was a great pleasure to sign on to the club this afternoon and read a few sent/added by you.

I liked the title and I loved the poem...it expresses the depth of your feelings and the height of your emotions without being what I would call over- emotional. Hope the recipient of that poem truly appreciated its merit and meaning.
