Price of Gas Keeps Rising
I have become more methodical about my driving. For example, at lunchtime, I refuse to drive anywhere these days and on the weekends I have enjoyed staying at home more. I have cut back on my gas bill to some extent. Now I am starting to focus my thoughts on eneergy efficient cars. Anyone drive and/or own a hybrid vehicle? Any thoughts? Any recommendations?

i'm with you KulBreeze. i do NO unnecessary driving anymore. no more liesurely drives. i consolidate my errand whenever possible, and since it's time to find a new primary care physician, i'm looking for one that i can walk to or at the very least drive to within 5 minutes. i also try to shop near home and when i get my gas, i'll pay a penny a gallon more rather than drive all over searching for cheaper - same with store prices - if i know it's higher where i am shopping at the tme, i just buy it anyway rather than driving 5 or so miles to find it for 2cents less.

as for the hybrid, i only know what i read and they sound like a good deal, but who knows??? fortunately i do get decent milage on my 8 y/o toyotal (28-30 mpg)

if i were buying a new car today, it would be a hybrid.
