URGENT PRAYER REQUEST
Sassy Sandy went to the emergency room last night as she could not breathe well. Her oxygen level was below 80. The hospital ran several tests and said they saw something on her lung but would not confirm that it was a blood clot from her recent surgery. She was finally put into a room and they are running a nuclear ct scan and other test to confirm exactly what it is. They have given her two shots into her stomach that is a rapid blood thinner. She was already on a tablet blood thinner after the surgery but this is in addition. Her oxygen level is still below 80 and they have to get it up to 92. She is very depressed that this has happened and she wants to go home. Please pray that whatever it is that it can be resolved quickly and she can return home to heal. Sandy is an awesome woman and it breaks my heart that she has been scared so badly once again. Thanks guys you are all very special friends.
Always,
Debbie

Update on Sassy
I talked to Sassy this morning and she is not feeling well. She has had a rough time and she would like all of you to know she appreciates your prayers and misses everyone so much. The update with her is this: When I wrote last the doctors thought she had a blood clot in her lungs but after further test they found her to have a large amount of fluid on one of her lungs. Yesterday they inserted a tube to her lung and drained over 1 liter of fluid! With the amount of blood thinner shots they had been giving her the incision where they placed the tube would not clot and it took most of the day to stop the bleeding. She is very weak from that and all of this has scared her where all she wants is to go home. They told her all of the fluid was what was causing some of her pain. She has a couple of small kidney stones left but they feel that can eliminte those without surgery. Today she has been severely nauseated and throwing up so they have been giving her phenergan by IV. She is tired and with the meds she will most likely sleep all day which is probably what she really needs.
Please continue to pray for her and that she will get better soon so she can go home and relax.
Thanks guys. You all are so great.
Debbie
