Spring comes to the mountains

This morning as the sun rose here in my little mountain home I looked out over the canyon where I lived and was thankful that spring is now here. It is always a beautfil time when spring comes to the mountains. The trees all have that pretty bright green as the new growth sprouts and the redbud trees are in full bloom. The song birds have returned and they fill the air with their singing. Everything is green and alive and growing. It is almost magical!
