Things that help...

I can't sort or fill in forms but I have found that I can organize areas if I try for 5 to 15 minutes at a time.  If I get overwhelmed I just take a reward break.  It doesn't have to be more than 2 to 5 minutes.  A cool glass of water with a squeeze of fruit, a spoon full of organic ice cream or a slice of a fruit or vegetable are frequent rewards.  I am not ashamed to tell people systems, numbers and names are not my strengths.  I can do wonders with color/design and have exceptional comprehension.  Even our Trainable students had strengths and often suprized me with great words of wisdom.  We are all cells of God and our eyes can be as bright as stars if we are but loved.  May your moments matter and be filled with joy,

Things that work: 123, 123, 123

I am new tot he group, but I've been diagnosed recently with Adult ADD. NOW I find out! My coping skill is 123. I do things in 3's. Pick up 3 things. Do 3 cleaning chores, as long as they are short! File 3 papers.

The 123 thing works.... it's time intensive, but I seem to be motivated by short taks and it's very often easy to tack on 3 more things as I go along.

I'm happy to find others in my situation!
