I see that this is not very active to date but would like to see this group here on Boomer make it!  I try to cut costs everywhere I can, trade at Goodwill, drive only 1 day a week to do all errands, buy at fresh food market's close out table when possible and know where I spend but would love to see tips that work for others.   Life may give us lemons but lime does just as well.  An acid drink just before going to bed slows the digestion so that the sugar in the system is lower by the time we arise less hungry.  It seems to help with the fat around the waist according to the research I have read.  So making lemonade is good for us!!
