Poets Corner

I am delighted to be the moderator of this group...and as so I simply want to make this group not only popular but well used. I am sure that all existing  and future members of this group all have that 'desire to put thoughts into words' albeit in prose poetry or rhyme.

I have been a Poet for over 40 years but have yet to have a piece published! As it says in the introduction I would like us as a group to feel free to not only post poetry but to comment on each others work where we feel a comment is worth making.

If anyone has any other suggestions please post direct or send to me. I hae only just come back from my vacation but will over the next few days read some of the poems that I notice already exist. I will add one or two of my own in due course.

I look forward to getting to know you all in time.

Just a thought.......

Yay!

I've been away from this site for quite a while, but it looks like it's a great time to return. Poetry is one of my favorite things---love to read what others have written and write some too, (though I have limited talent), and because I do recognize my limitations, I have no aspirations to be published.  I just write for the pure joy of it, and I suppose I will at least try to compile these many years-worth of scribbles at some point just for my family to remember my by-------------

I will get my nerve up and post something later today. Meanwhile, I'm enjoying reading and commenting on the work of others. Thanks for having a "poet's corner".
