I hope I get it
I just read one of the reviews of Pilgrim's Progress and I think t will be a great discussion book. Did you know there were 108,260 words and is only devided into two parts, no chapters. I am not so good at "reading between the lines" so this should be a real experience for me. I'm up to the challenge.

John Bunyan
I started the book last night the version that I have is Grace Abounding and the Pilgrim's progress. Grace abounding is the story opf John Bunyan's life and how he came to write the pilgrim's progress. Very interesting...and I think relevant. Do the other versions have anything about John Bunyan's life?

Tuesday Evening
I started Pilgrim's Progress and have enjoyed the first two little chapters. I'm really happy that we are reading the modern english version. The apology letter at the beginning in the old english is very hard to follow, I can't imagine reading an entire book of that.

Is anyone else out there reading PP besides Tegnot, cozytreasures and myself?

Speaking of Tegnot he is having surgery tomorrow. Please lets keep him in our thoughts. He is going to be reading PP during his recovery.

Cozytreasures did you get your copy yet?

I just noticed four out of five replies in this forum are by me..
I think I'm talking to myself...it kind of reminds me of when I was married.

Hope everyone is having a great night...

Pilgrim's Progress
Here is a place for anyone to discuss this book. It is next on my list of reading after being recommended by one of my new boomer place pals, tegnot. Actually, tegnot should probably get us started.
