My daughter was watching the Miss Texas pageant on the tv in the bedroom. She suddenly came running to me just sobbing her little heart out, and she was saying," Mama she's dead, she's dead." A little taken back, I calmed her and asked, "Who is dead?" She said, "Miss Texas is dead." Picturing in my mind this lady falling dead on stage, I asked her, " How do you know she's dead." She replied, " She must be Mama, they're picking a new one."
