The start of our Memorial Day week-end...

My hubby wanted to make a macaroni salad for Memorial week-end. He's such a wonderful cook! I was in the computer room and he was in the kitchen cooking. All of a sudden I hear him saying, come quick! I ran into the kitchen to see my husband trying to get the coffee pot that was on fire into the sink! He had accidently turned the wrong burner on! I was putting the fire out on the stove while he was putting the coffee pot out. Needless to say we've had enough excitement for one week-end. Such is life...

sounds like something i would do. we were eating dinner and glanced out the patio door and it was on fire, a grand feat i somehow managed. thankfully we were able to put it out without the fire dept., and the damage was minimal.
