It Is Well With My Soul

You wake to a new day, and the

aussie sun is their,

Whether you down or up

it shines on,

through any of your despair.

Good morning sunshine,

and blue skys,

I awake to embrace the day,

resolved in my mind

and spirit not to allow

anyone to take my peace

or joy, or play

with my emotions like

a toy.

I arise out off the gloom that

has felt much like a tomb

To say No to despair,

you will not come

here,

No to heart acke,

No to doubt,

I shut you all out.

I have created a world of my own,

inside my heart,

where wonders live

and God resides,

and angels walk by

my side.

What ever others whish

to do,

I will not allow them

to filter through,

with harsh judgments,

or unforgiving ways.,

or I am free in my soul

this day.

I hold on to Hope and gentle

thoughts,

NO matter what may

come about,

I will use the strength that

I have built,and God provides,

to keep my peace,

and joy inside.

Tears can fall, but thats ok.

much is healed with a tear

out of the way.

It's when they are held deep

inside,

that the heart never gets

a chance

to weep.

So with reality in check but

with magic and wonder all

about,

it leaves me with the knowing

I have no doubt:

my concious is clear,

my soul at rest,

I give each day what is

asked off me,

my best.

It is well with my soul.

A thought like a pebble,

a trinkle like a river,

a raindrop like a storm.

Deceit once performed becomes

a habit, kindness too.

In Storm

In the storm I hold fast to hope

and to know that this too shall

past.

In the storms I pray and weep

In the storms I gather courage.

And in the storms I fight my fear.

In the storms I surrender and

give way to the flow of what is

to come.

In the storm I recognize my weakness

And in the storm I build my strength.

As waves of despair and fear

fill the boat of life, I do what I can do

and then let go and let God.

For in the storms of life I learn.

At times taking my fist to heaven

which only caused me to grow

weak.

For in the Storms we are stripped

to find out who we are, and in

the storms we will find God

loves us as we are.

However I remain steadfast,

for this too shall pass.

The seas shall calm and the sun will

shine.

Hope once more will be renewed.

As long as I keep my heart not to far from

thee I know that I will be supplied for

all my daily needs.

Even in the pain, I still remain clinging

to the cross, for without that hope

I would be sailing in a mist just set adrift

Humbly to the cross I cling

For he is my God and King of kings

His praises of hope I will sing.

Pointing fingers and judging people

as guilty

that was the Law's job.

But the Law has led to the Cross -

and the Cross to the death

of the Law -

so the job of pointing fingers

and judging people as guilty

is done.

Our "job" is now to point

to the Cross,

through which God

is no longer counting our

sins against us."

yes it can

be lonely, but I cherish my solitude at the

same time and the freedom I have been given

by The Lord.

TIME

Time how it passes us,

how it takes with it our hopes

Our dreams and yes even our pain.

It seems to move so slowly

yet really so very fast.

What is this thing called time?

The seconds, minutes, hours,

weeks, months and years.

We have no control over

the element of time. One

can not stop it, it continues

on no matter what we do.

Like the ocean, we can not

hold back Time.
　

So we schedule it, try and

control it, or master it or try

to use it, to produce for

us wealth, health or longevity.

Time we want to know what

it holds for us in the future.

So we once again try and see

into the future of the time

yet to come, to harness that
time to be prepared, so that
time will not be in control.

But time has its way,

it does its own bidding,

and all we

can do is determine in our

minds what we would have of

our time.

Should we continually try

nd mould it that’s each person

choice. Some have changed

the face of the earth

through the timing, that

took place in their decisions.

So time hold back the storms

and allows the gentle winds

of warmth and refreshing

dew to come in to our time.

Blow the doors that hold back

so much time of struggle and

allow the time of abundance

of life to come forth.　

Time be gentle with us,

and allow this time to be one

of Blessings, healing and Love.

love God first, above all else,

and that we love other

people as we love ourselves.

Do that and you fulfill all

of God's requirements
