My mother passed away Sunday after a series of illnesses culminating with a heart attack. As an only child of a single parent, my mother and I had a very close and special relationship. She provided me with love, guidance and unconditional support throughout my childhood and into my adult years. I can't begin to describe the sense of loss I am experiencing, especially as it comes just three weeks after my aunt (my mom's sister) passed away. So there has been no end of the stress and grief for the last while.
I am going to be busy doing all the things I have to do around my mother's passing as well as some grieving. So I may not be on boomers as often for the next while.
