Well my last blog was in November. So here is a update on whats up here. I am no longer sharing an apartment with my son. I needed some space and so did he. I have found and moved into a nice apartment here in Oklahoma City. It is in the arts district and it is "way cool" here. I have met with some of the people here. Yes I am 1/2 block from the local "Coffee Shop" named "Sauced". They are having live music 4 nights this week. Bluegrass tonight starts at 9 and ends at midnight.
It is nice being here, all the people here are very friendly, and there are lots of art shops and pottery shops that include leasson and access to Kilns for firing pieces. I have everything i need within short walking distance. I am living in a 1930's historic building and the rent is very affordable. I even have an ironing board that pulls down from the wall -- yeah you all should remember those. Even has the square box in the wall for the telephone to set in. I love it. Rascal is making lots of new friends too. She thinks we moved here for her.
I had to go to the hospital yesterday to get a shot in knee again. Yeah had one about 6 weeks ago and it is still 17 days to my orthopedic appointment. I will be glad to get to see the Dr so i can unload on him about it taking 2 months to get in to see them. Dam knee just stays swollen and sore, and is unbearable on some days. Yesterday was one of those days.
But life is good, I got everything i wanted after christmas. Yes i got myself a new Leather Coat, and a tattoo. Yes Steve i got my first tat at age 58 LMAO. It is done and i love it -- will add a pic of it to my page soon.
WEll i have not been avoiding you my friends, just been busy getting everything ready for my move and am now in the unpacking stage. Almost done, so don't be surprised when least expected that i should show up. Your Friend Bill (Hippie for Life)
