Pain make me angry? YES , it does!
Hi Lynn,

Yes, pain makes me very angry and sad at times. I suffer from R.A. It is very hard on me somedays when I am in a flare, not to
get upset or short with my loved ones, or of the children I take care of. I am a daycare provider, it is a very demanding job, but very rewarding. But, somedays it is very hard for me not to get upset at the kids when I hurt so bad.
How do I deal with it, well, if I was not a Christian, it would be very hard for me to deal with the pain and anger. I have to turn it all over to God and let HIM help me.
Thanks for starting this group! Linda

Back Pain
I don't remember what is like before I hurt my lower back. I have to be extremely careful of what I do everyday to ensure that my back does not get injured again. The pain can be crippling, and sciatic nerve can give the kind of pain that is unforgiving.
I need to loose weight, and I tried to workout, but my back put a stop to that. I became very angry and depressed about it especially since I was doing so well with it. Now, I'll have to depend on just diet.
Housework is limited to one room a day; anymore than that I'll start getting a serious warning. It's horrible to limited this way. It seems to get worst every year. Yes, I get depressed and angry about it, but I think that I've learned to live with it.
I take medication for depression and anxiety, but I still get depressed about it. I want to dance again.

Does the pain ever make you angry?
I know I'm not alone in this.
I find myself feeling angry and irritable alot. I know it is mostly due to all the pain. But unfortunately, if I'm having a really bad day, I tend to take it out on my family...especially the kids. How do you handle these feelings?

I AM ANGRY ABOUT MY CHILDHOOD AND ADULT ABUSE BUT I AM ALSO VERY ANGRY THAT I CAN'T BE THE FUL WOMAN THAT I NEED AND WANT TO BE!!! I CAN HARDLY DO ANY HOUSE WORK. ANYTHING I NEED TO DO .. I HAVE TO POP PAIN PILLS OF SOME KIND... EITHER OVER THE COUNTER ... OR PRESCRIPTION (MAKES ME TIRED) AND WHEN I FEEL THE PAIN RETURNING, I EITHER HAVE TO QUIT WHAT I AM DOING OR TAKE MORE PILLS. ONE DAY I MIGHT OVER DOSE... WHO KNOWS... I USED TO TAKE 8 ASPRIN EVERY 4 HOURS AND MY BODY SHUT DOWN AND THE DR. RUSHED ME TO THE E.R THOUGHT MY BRAIN WAS HEMORIGING(?) CAN'T SPELL ANYMORE EITHER...MUST BE BRAIN DAMAGE TOO? so i am a little more careful about the pills i take but then not much gets done. SO I CRY A LOT!!!
