Radio?? What's that??
I remember when FM came on line in a big way in the 60's and radio was fun. Dj's ran their own shows and played what they wanted. Now with Clear Channel buying most of the radio stations and concert venues, you get the same 40 songs over and over played by robots with no personality. ..except for Bob Dyaln on satellite radio, they actually let him play what he wants..nobody messes with Bob. There's a UK station now playing stuff they find on myspace by unknown artists because record companies no longer have any concept of music. Those same record companies that put independent reocrd stores out of business and pay Clear Channel to play the next big hit by Britney Spears ...Oh, yeah. There's some great talent there...

What Do You Listen To?
There's the standard AM/FM radio, satellite radio, the Internet, CDs, cassettes and portable MP3 style players. What do you use to listen? Plus, what are you listening to? Inquiring minds want to know! I'll get it started... I'm still with the good ol' AM/FM radio with CD player in my car. That's where I do most of my listening as I ride to and from work. Lately I have been completely bored with music radio, so I listen to news from the local public radio station and the NPR network.
