Single forums
I went to a forum that you started that did not have any members or messages. So I left one on the other forum. What is the difference between each on of the singles groups? Are some more adult oriented or maybe just covering all the bases. Maybe one could be questions and answers type forum. I have a few questions. But I do not have the words needed to ask without other members inputting their thoughts also. I came to Boomers because I felt the people here would have more in common with me than the younger generations groups.

Boomers
It is difficult to have few members here. However, I do believe in time it will grow. The other groups that I have are on Myspace. They are for men and women of the ages of 39 to 110. When I joined Boomers I thought that it would be a nice idea to do the same here. Slow going but it will increase.

Thanks so much for starting the group. I believe if people start leaving messages it will start growing. One one the best features I like about this forum is I fit right in the age group you set it for. I wonder how many other people fit that category that are just afraid to leave a message. Thanks for answering my message.

I enjoy MyBoomerPlace since it is mostly people more my age. I have noticed a lot of people seem to be worried about putting any information on their profile. Including pictures of themselves. This makes me wonder if they have something to hide. I have also noticed some of my new friends are so very nice it is a shame they live so far away. Well I guess you can't have everything. I am glad that you are at least answering my messages, I would hate it if I had to start answering myself. I have been known to do that !!!

It is a bit slow. I understand what you mean about people that don't post pic's. I usually don't accept them if they can not show me their face.I've actually had some ask me on a date! Right, like I am going to meet you Mr. Ghost man. Unbelievable.

I have accepted some women as friends that are face less. But it is a lot different since I am a guy. Besides I figure maybe they are either out of shape or have very low self esteem, and afraid to place a face with their profile. I wonder how many people they would accept without a picture. I don't expect I'll be dating anyone anyway so being a friend to someone allows me to express my feelings, and enjoy a good conversation no matter who they may be. Unless of course the female is really a male. Now that is what I would call sick..............Now don't get me wrong I am very open minded and uninhibited, but since I am straight as an arrow I would just have a hard time talking to a guy or even a shemale or transexual. My preferance though for a good conversation will be with a face behind the message!!!!!!!!!
