i know on myspace I have been hounded by the same guy I keep blocking-changes his Address, profile, pic, etc. Once we get talking I realise the similar stuff-no way to prove but makes me mad I posted my real pic and not a fake. I wish more people had the web cams so you can actually SEE who is posting!I have one now so people I kinda know my cam pic resembles my posted pic.

What brings me to Boomers? Well, i just joined this group and I joined because I want to make friends with people my own age and also myspane is way to crowded!
I hope in time this will expand!

My pics are real both in MySpace and MyBoomerplace. MySpace profile is a little more Risqué compared to MyBoomerPlace profile. At MySpace I sometimes get harrased mostly by guys and sometimes the younger females also. I made it clear that I only allow real adults on my friends list and check them out before I say OK. Also some groups have youngsters, so I check out the groups as well before I present any comments. I have blocked quite a few and it stopped them in there tracks. Of course I don't do IM unless I know the person very well and have been in contact with them for around 6 months. Don't feel bad about using your real pictures. I hate thoughs that put fake pictures out and lie about their age. None of us are spring chickens so I just don't worry about it.

I have just deleted my space account. I was tired of the people harrassing and being fake. I had 3 different men friends all working in Africa and all 3 stuck there with no money and needing help to get out. One guy wanted me to go borrow the money and send it to him so he could come home. They all were contractors, if that doesn't sound like a scheme!! Nothing would. lol. So I just dumped all of it and am now a boomer only.

I am but I guess we must be alone. I have been away for awhile do to some pain and 4 different nerve blocks but now I am back and it seems like everything has changed. I haven't had a chance to see if the changes are bad or good?
