Emergency 3 - Mission: Life
I found this software earlier this year and though officially classified as a game, it is also a good training simulation. You can either play it in challenge mode (which gives you multiple scenarios at once) or run the campaign which is seventeen (17) different missions with various submissions that occur as a result of what you do or don't do in the main mission. . .in other words there are consequences for mistakes. Last night, for example, I started a mission involving a tour bus that goes out of control on the freeway and mixes it up with about four to six other cars. I haven't got too far with it yet since I started it late but it looks like a challenge. The one thing I have to get accustomed to is the fact that it was written by a British software developer so it utilizes British apparatus whih put me at something of a disadvantage until I figured out what units to send on which call. All in all, however, I have to say that it's a well written program that's easy to understand even if u've never been in a fire station before. Walter
