Hey Chet
I'm a part time Arizonan. Own two places in AZ.... One is in the town (not the county) of Maricopa which is a long term rental and the other is in a place called Sun lakes, which is right next to, sorta part of Chandler. Most of the time we rent our SL place out to snowbirds. It's a gated (and manned) community with private golf courses, pools and tennis. There is on site dining from casual to formal. The streets are immaculate and there are all sorts of activities, even for us young retirees. Though I'm still a New Yorker, I'm down here in the "dry heat" for October and then coming back in December too. Could have rented it out, but want to enjoy the place a little too. The overall population is a little older, but I'm 51 and I like it fine. Whatever I don't do in Sun Lakes I can find in Chandler which has any store you could ever need. Movies, art center, etc...
