Over the last few Christmases I don't know how many times I've watched this movie on TBS but I never get tired of it. For those of you who've never seen it, Peter Billingsley (I think that's right) stars as a little boy who wants a Daisy "Red Rider" pellet gun and the movie details is uphill battle until he finally gets it from Santa on Christmas morning. One of my favorite scenes is when the boy that's always bullying Peter's character is "Double-Dog-Dared" to stick his tongue to a metal flagpole in sub-freezing temperatures. Needless to say, he gets stuck and the fire department is called to the scene to rescue him from his cold predicament.
